So my husband was feeling bad because every blog we look at is all about there husbands and he says that he feels left out. so this is a blog just for you Jesse!!!

6. going shooting, which he is super excited about since he is getting a shot gun soon!

3. Being with his family, its been hard being away from them these past 2 years, but we have so much fun with them when we get to see them.

So i know its not Christmas yet, and Sarah or Chelsea will probably see this and ruin the suprise but i really wanted to post pictures of the dress i just made Paisley for Christmas, its a twinner dress with Ila's, (but its better made) no worried chelsea im making Ila a new one! i finally figured out my pattern! well here are the pics.

2010 here we come!

I can't believe christmas is a week away! this year has gone by so fast! i dont know if im ready for it to be over! here are some things that we have accomplished this past year.
1. I started my last year of nursing school
2. Jesse got a new job as manager of Gandolfos (Thanks Tad!)
3. we moved into a house (thanks mom and dad, best landlords ever!)
4. we got a cute but very naughty puppy, Roxy we love you!
5. I turned 22! and had a great night with my friends playing bingo!
6. I made the deans list for spring semester!
7. We celebrated our 2nd year anniversary, we stayed at an awesome bed and breakfast, went to the zoo and i dropped my phone in the toilet :(

8. Jesse Turned 24, and learned that he loves to go shooting!
9. I started my last semester of nursing school
10. had some amazing clinicals this semester and learned lots from my preceptor
11. learned that CPR is a lot harder than it looks, and kills your wrist but is worth it when you save someone!
12. had an awesome Halloween in Arizona, I love my nursing class, im really going to miss you all!
13. Learned that Marriage takes work, but when things go right its all worth it.
14. had a great thanksgiving with jesse's family! im so lucky that i got great inlaws and sister in laws! I love you Sarah and Chelsea!
15. I have a new baby niece that im so excited to meet one day! Ila you are adorable!
16. I failed a final, but learned a valuable lesson,  the lord works does answer prayers but they may not be the way you wanted it.
17. I graduated from the Nursing program!!!!!! I have my BSN!!! nursing world watch out here i come!
18. I am studying like a mad man to take my NCLEX, but am so glad that i have this opportuninty to take a reveiw course and help me learn and progress i know that i will pass the first time!
19. I am so greatful for Jesse and helping me through this year, it has truly been a hard and crazy year, but i couldn't of made it through it with out him! love you babe!
20. Im so excited for Christmas!

wow i can't believe this year has gone by so fast, so many things have changed, I graduated college i never thought that this would happen so fast, i dont know feel ready to be a grown up! haha but im so excited for the adventures to come! I can't wait to call my self a Nurse, adn to have a job! It's been 4 years this Christmas since me and jesse started dating, i can't believe its been 4 years, 2 and half being married, our journey has just begun, but im so excited for what's next! Jesse has been working so hard this last year, and i know he doesn't feel like it has paid off, but i can see a huge change in him, he has learned so much adn become an amazing man! He gets to start school this next year and i know how excited he is to start working on his career, he is going to be an amazing buisness man, and im so greatful for him putting me throught school and now i get the chance to help him reach his dreams!

sorry this was a long post and a little random but i can't believe this year is almost over!

Im an official BSN College Graduate!

So yesterday was my official graduation from the SUU nursing department! it was such a great day, my mom, dad and littler sister were able to come down, we were sad we couldn't have jesse's family there but they were there with us in our thoughts. So our Graduation from the nursing department is a little different, its called a Pinning ceremony where we get an official SUU nursing pin, and the director of the nursing department pins us. We had  a few student speakers, the director talk and then a slide show or out last 2 years together. We then had one of our teachers read thank you letters we wrote to our families as we walked across the stage to get our pin, lamps and rose. so yeah it was a great day and I think our pinning went great, (ps we had to plan the whole thing by ourselves, and i must say we did a pretty great job!) so after graduation my family and I went to Benja's a Thai food resturant in St. George, my family was a little nervous they had never had Thai food before but i told them not to worry! haha they ended up loving it, me and jesse told them so! so after that we just hung out in St. George before going home, then me and jesse went to hang out with some of my nursing friends and celebrate the rest of our night! yay i can't believe im done, it feels so weird i dont think it has actually hit yet, that i dont have to go to school next week, Haha. i know i still have one big hurtle left to over come and that is passing my boards but im going to study hard and i know i can do it!

I just want to say thank you to everyone that helped me through these last two years! to all my friends for the support, my Family for loving me and being there for me, for all the people who let me crash at there place for early morning clinicals, and to my husband for being such a loving man, and really being my best friend and encouraging me the whole way through and for being my shoulder to cry on. I love you so much honey and I don't know what I would do with out you!

Graduation Countdown!

So i graduate next friday!!!! yay that is 7 days! in a week from today i will be a college graduate! im so flippin excited! but with that excitement comes overwhelming stress! i have 3 finals next week to worry about and there is one final that if i dont pass i dont graduate, and that is really freaking me out, im also stressing about finding a job, i didn't get into the residency program down here, which is waht i was hoping for, so now i have to start looking at other hospitals up north, we are even considering Idaho, but i really want to stay close to my family, but we will move where the money takes us. so anywho i will be college graduate in a week! and hopefully by the end of January i will have passed my bored and then i will be a real nurse!! yay

Job Interview!

So this has been a crazy stressful week! first my dog chewed up my phone, and then all day yesterday people from my class were getting calls for interviews down at Dixie, and i was freaking out because my phone wasn't working so how were they going to contact me? well lucky they emailed me and i have an interview for the Dixie Regional Medical Center Residency program Tomorrow at 11am! i am so excited but also so nervous, its a group interview because they got so many applicants, im worried i wont stand out i just don't know what to do im freaking out i really want this, but im afraid they wont like me. ahh what to do! so everyone if you will pray for me and keep me in your thoughts and send me good vibes that would be awesome!!

ps this is my last week of class crazy!!!

Im going to miss you little brother!

So my little brother Austin left on his mission today :( its a bitter sweet day, i know he is doing the right thing and will be a great missionary, but i know im going to miss him so much! we were always so close and got a long well, but he is going to have a great experience and i can write to him. so i guess i will live.

on a happier note, i was in Phoenix this past weekend and can i tell you how much i love Phoenix, i have never been before, and i just fell in love with the city, i cant wait to go back! so i was in phoenix for the mid year NSNA confrence, it is a confrence for nursing students. it was a good time not as great as i had expected it, but i had a lot of fun. we got to see the site of phoenix, went to the zoo, and just had a blast. i learned some good things for school and got to talk to some recruiters which helped me feel more comfortable for appying for jobs.

oh and graduation is 4 weeks away! its so scary and exciting, i feel and know i have so much to do still, but i can't wait to be done with school!

I'm feeling Crafty!

So i went up north last weekend to see my family, and me, my mom and aunts went to a craft fair where i saw this awesome booth that sold very cute head bands. well there was one with some feathers on it, that i just fell in love with. but since i can't wait till christmas ;) i decided to make my own, so here are some pics of the feather headbands i made! i just love them!

ps. i only have one month left of school! yay its so crazy i can't believe im almost done! i can start applying for jobs now which is awesome and scary.

Quick Update

Hey guys sorry its been a while, i wanted to wait and post pictures of what we have been up to, but i broke my camera so no pictures sorry. :( well school is still crazy as ever, i just finished up my preceptor on Sunday which was a great experience im glad i had the opportunity to follow and nurse around and have a great mentor teach me. so now that that is over i get to do 8 shifts in the ER, ICU, NICU, ect. this will be an adventure i just know it.

Jesse has found a new activity he loves down here, he has been going shooting like twice a week, he has his dads old 22 rifle and he loves going shooting when ever he can, but that means now he really wants a shotgun, and a pistol. so at least i know something to get him for christmas :)

for all my family and friends that dont already know, my little brother Austin got his mission call about a month ago! he will be serving in the Columbia South Carolina mission! he leaves Nov, 4th, 2009. i am so excited and proud of my little brother, i know he is doing a great thing adn will be an amazing missionary!

I can't wait to be a nurse!

So this is just a quick update, so school has started and it is going well, classes are not as crazy as they have been in the past. lots of busy work but that"s to be expected. so this last week i was able to start my preceptor. for those of you who don't know what this is, it is like an internship, i get paired up with a nurse and follow them around, basically doing there job and having them mentor and evaluate me. I must say that i am LOVING this! I have been paired up with 2 nurses, who both are amazing! i am learning so much and am finally feeling like a real nurse. I can't wait to get back to the hospital and finish my shifts! i just love the feeling of helping people, and being able to make there life a little easier. I can't wait to be graduated and to be doing this for the rest of my life!

Update on our busy lives!

So i know its been forever since we have posted anything, we have been really busy, work has been kinda crazy having 2 people leave so me and jesse have been working lots. well here is a quick update of whats been going on.

on the 24th of july weekend we were able to go up north and spend some time with my family, we went boating, it was so much fun, except for the part where jesse got fried! he burnt his feet so bad he couldn't wear shoes for a while, he is finally just getting over the burn! lets see were learned that roxy loves boating and tubing!

two weekends ago we were lucky enough to have tad, sarah and paisley come visit us! it was only for the weekend but well worth it, we took paisley swimming, then went to dinner adn we babysat paisley while tad and sarah went to a shakespearean play. i love paisley! i had so much fun with her. me sarah and paisley went shopping saturday which was really fun and we both got some cute things. then of course we played settlers that night!

well this weekend is my last weekend before i head back to school, and what is a better way to end the summer than to spend it with your family. we are going up north to visit jesse's family because his sister chelsea is coming to town, jesse is really excited, and of course i am too, its been a long time since i have seen chels and its going to be a great weekned i know it!!!!!

So on the last note this is my last semester of school! i will be an official college graduate in december! im so freaken excited!! i can't wait to be done with the nursing school and to finally get a real job doing what i love!

Happy Birthday Jesse!!!

I know that is really late, but on June 28th, jesse turned the big 24! :) we did a lot of fun stuff for his birthday, since his birthday was on a sunday and we have church at 9am, i decided to make jesse his breakfast birthday on saturday. i made him blueberry pancakes, with magelby's syrup (which is amazing!) this was at jesse's request. they turned out really yummy. after breakfast we threw on our swimsuits, and grabbed roxy and headed to Kanarraville to hike to the falls. it was a really fun hike, Jesse had never been on this hike before so i enjoyed taking him on it. Roxy really enjoyed it too, until we got to the water part. haha. after the hike we headed home to clean up then drove down to Mongolian BBQ in St. George adn had some yummy dinner, this is probably one of jesse's favorite resturants. well after a long fun day we went home and watched a movie. The next day on his official birthday, he got sang to in primary! :) which he loved, then after church i went to work on his cake, I wanted to make is special so i put food coloring in the batter, which turned out really cool, then i decorated it so it looked like the batman symbol, which turned out awesome, i am really impressed with this cake. haha jesse loved it and i wouldn't let him see it until it was done, he had no idea i was going to make it look like batman! so for dinner we had homemade tacos and cake. it was awesome!

This last weekend, my best friend Carolyn came down to visit, it was a lot of fun, i set her up with my friend mike, we hung out all weekend, on friday we made hobo dinners up the canyon, then came back to our place and watched a movie. On saturday me and care drove down to st. george where we did a lot of shopping, which was great, i have missed having a shopping buddy. when we got back we jumped into our suits grabbed jesse and mike and headed to the Meadow Hot Springs. it had been 2 years since i had been so i was nervous about finding the right spot, well come to find out i didn't exatly remember how to get there, haha we ended up driving around for like 2 hours, then we decided to head home, but as we were heading back i saw the turn off, we had drove right past it. i felt like a dummy, but it ended up being a blast, and well worth the adventures we had finding it. :) after hanging out at the hot springs we headed home, and stopped at dennys at 3am and had breakfast! Im so glad Care got to come visit, i have really missed my best friend! This has been a good summer so far.

2nd year anniversary!

Ok so here are some pictures of what we have been up to this summer. the first ones are from a hike i went on with my friends Jessica and Amy, we went and hiked Kanarraville falls. it was a fun hike. Amy is standing by the very scary ladder we had to climb to get to the rest of the path. it was really wobbly, but we all made it.

ok then these next pictures of are anniversary, we went up north to visit family, one of those nights we went to a bed and breakfast that was great! i would love to go back there. these are pictures from that.

phone trouble+sinus infection=no blogging

Ok so its been a while since I've blogged because I have been sick with a sinus infection for about a week now, I'm finally starting to feel better yay!

Well on june 1st we celebrated our two year anniversary!!!! I can't believe its been two years already, time sure fliesm well for our anniversary we went up north and stayed in an awesome bed and breakfast(pics to come) then we went to the Zoo which I love, except that day is when I dropped my phone in the toilet at the zoo :( sad I know.

So basically I have been without a phone iuntil yesterday! I got a new phone and so far I love it, its a blackberry curve and I'm writing all this from my phone which is so cool! Ok so I will post pictures soon of our adentures I hope everyone is doing well!

I love Summer!

So i know its been a long time since i have posted anything, im sorry i am a slacker! so here is whats been going on, I have officially passed level 3 of the nursing program and i am now a level 4 nursing student which means i only have one semester left! yay! i graduate this upcoming december i am so excited!

Me and jesse have added a new member to our family! we got a puppy and her name is Roxy! she is a hound, terrier mix, and the cutest dog ever i love her so much!! she can be a little devil sometimes, but she is still a puppy so we hope she grow out of it! :)

So jesse and i have just been working lots, Gandolfo's is going well, its still kinda slow but he has high hopes for the summer! other than work, the first week of may, i went to California with a bunch of my nursing classmates, we stayed in LA, and the main part of our trip is when we went to the PRICE IS RIGHT!!! it was so awesome! we made shirts that said drew pick me, i may be your nurse someday! it was so surreal, i told myself im not going to get all excited and act like an idiot like most people do on the show but its insane how exicting it is, we had one of our friends get called up, Alysha, it was awesome, once they called her name, everyone freaked out! haha so yeah she got called up, and she got on stage, she won a brandnew computer, 40 in plasma tv, and an ipod, it was pretty sweet! it was so fun! i suggest if you are ever in LA you need to go to the price is right!

we also went to Hollywood, the Beach, i ate sushi for the first time and found out that i am allergic to crab, yeah that was fun, my lips got all swollen and my throat got all itchy, it was scarry. but i lived. we also went to six flags, and just had so much fun! i want to go back!

Lets see what else have we been up to? well we have a new calling in church, we just got called to be CTR 5 primary teachers. so we teach the 5 and 6 year olds. which is really fun, im enjoying it so much!
