Update on our busy lives!

So i know its been forever since we have posted anything, we have been really busy, work has been kinda crazy having 2 people leave so me and jesse have been working lots. well here is a quick update of whats been going on.

on the 24th of july weekend we were able to go up north and spend some time with my family, we went boating, it was so much fun, except for the part where jesse got fried! he burnt his feet so bad he couldn't wear shoes for a while, he is finally just getting over the burn! lets see were learned that roxy loves boating and tubing!

two weekends ago we were lucky enough to have tad, sarah and paisley come visit us! it was only for the weekend but well worth it, we took paisley swimming, then went to dinner adn we babysat paisley while tad and sarah went to a shakespearean play. i love paisley! i had so much fun with her. me sarah and paisley went shopping saturday which was really fun and we both got some cute things. then of course we played settlers that night!

well this weekend is my last weekend before i head back to school, and what is a better way to end the summer than to spend it with your family. we are going up north to visit jesse's family because his sister chelsea is coming to town, jesse is really excited, and of course i am too, its been a long time since i have seen chels and its going to be a great weekned i know it!!!!!

So on the last note this is my last semester of school! i will be an official college graduate in december! im so freaken excited!! i can't wait to be done with the nursing school and to finally get a real job doing what i love!

Happy Birthday Jesse!!!

I know that is really late, but on June 28th, jesse turned the big 24! :) we did a lot of fun stuff for his birthday, since his birthday was on a sunday and we have church at 9am, i decided to make jesse his breakfast birthday on saturday. i made him blueberry pancakes, with magelby's syrup (which is amazing!) this was at jesse's request. they turned out really yummy. after breakfast we threw on our swimsuits, and grabbed roxy and headed to Kanarraville to hike to the falls. it was a really fun hike, Jesse had never been on this hike before so i enjoyed taking him on it. Roxy really enjoyed it too, until we got to the water part. haha. after the hike we headed home to clean up then drove down to Mongolian BBQ in St. George adn had some yummy dinner, this is probably one of jesse's favorite resturants. well after a long fun day we went home and watched a movie. The next day on his official birthday, he got sang to in primary! :) which he loved, then after church i went to work on his cake, I wanted to make is special so i put food coloring in the batter, which turned out really cool, then i decorated it so it looked like the batman symbol, which turned out awesome, i am really impressed with this cake. haha jesse loved it and i wouldn't let him see it until it was done, he had no idea i was going to make it look like batman! so for dinner we had homemade tacos and cake. it was awesome!

This last weekend, my best friend Carolyn came down to visit, it was a lot of fun, i set her up with my friend mike, we hung out all weekend, on friday we made hobo dinners up the canyon, then came back to our place and watched a movie. On saturday me and care drove down to st. george where we did a lot of shopping, which was great, i have missed having a shopping buddy. when we got back we jumped into our suits grabbed jesse and mike and headed to the Meadow Hot Springs. it had been 2 years since i had been so i was nervous about finding the right spot, well come to find out i didn't exatly remember how to get there, haha we ended up driving around for like 2 hours, then we decided to head home, but as we were heading back i saw the turn off, we had drove right past it. i felt like a dummy, but it ended up being a blast, and well worth the adventures we had finding it. :) after hanging out at the hot springs we headed home, and stopped at dennys at 3am and had breakfast! Im so glad Care got to come visit, i have really missed my best friend! This has been a good summer so far.

2nd year anniversary!

Ok so here are some pictures of what we have been up to this summer. the first ones are from a hike i went on with my friends Jessica and Amy, we went and hiked Kanarraville falls. it was a fun hike. Amy is standing by the very scary ladder we had to climb to get to the rest of the path. it was really wobbly, but we all made it.

ok then these next pictures of are anniversary, we went up north to visit family, one of those nights we went to a bed and breakfast that was great! i would love to go back there. these are pictures from that.

Then the next morning we went to the Zoo! my sister in law sarah and paisley came with us which was so much fun! paisley loved the carosel and train ride. it ended up being a good day and a great anniversary! thanks jesse i love you so much!

phone trouble+sinus infection=no blogging

Ok so its been a while since I've blogged because I have been sick with a sinus infection for about a week now, I'm finally starting to feel better yay!

Well on june 1st we celebrated our two year anniversary!!!! I can't believe its been two years already, time sure fliesm well for our anniversary we went up north and stayed in an awesome bed and breakfast(pics to come) then we went to the Zoo which I love, except that day is when I dropped my phone in the toilet at the zoo :( sad I know.

So basically I have been without a phone iuntil yesterday! I got a new phone and so far I love it, its a blackberry curve and I'm writing all this from my phone which is so cool! Ok so I will post pictures soon of our adentures I hope everyone is doing well!

I love Summer!

So i know its been a long time since i have posted anything, im sorry i am a slacker! so here is whats been going on, I have officially passed level 3 of the nursing program and i am now a level 4 nursing student which means i only have one semester left! yay! i graduate this upcoming december i am so excited!

Me and jesse have added a new member to our family! we got a puppy and her name is Roxy! she is a hound, terrier mix, and the cutest dog ever i love her so much!! she can be a little devil sometimes, but she is still a puppy so we hope she grow out of it! :)

So jesse and i have just been working lots, Gandolfo's is going well, its still kinda slow but he has high hopes for the summer! other than work, the first week of may, i went to California with a bunch of my nursing classmates, we stayed in LA, and the main part of our trip is when we went to the PRICE IS RIGHT!!! it was so awesome! we made shirts that said drew pick me, i may be your nurse someday! it was so surreal, i told myself im not going to get all excited and act like an idiot like most people do on the show but its insane how exicting it is, we had one of our friends get called up, Alysha, it was awesome, once they called her name, everyone freaked out! haha so yeah she got called up, and she got on stage, she won a brandnew computer, 40 in plasma tv, and an ipod, it was pretty sweet! it was so fun! i suggest if you are ever in LA you need to go to the price is right!

we also went to Hollywood, the Beach, i ate sushi for the first time and found out that i am allergic to crab, yeah that was fun, my lips got all swollen and my throat got all itchy, it was scarry. but i lived. we also went to six flags, and just had so much fun! i want to go back!

Lets see what else have we been up to? well we have a new calling in church, we just got called to be CTR 5 primary teachers. so we teach the 5 and 6 year olds. which is really fun, im enjoying it so much!

So we have been really really busy, jesse is managing the Gandolfos down here, im busy with school which i am loving this semester, its all about mother adn baby which is what i want to go into. :) i had my first clinical last week and i was in the NICU which was amazing i loved it! so here is some good fun news, my parents bought a twin home down here adn we are going to be renting it from them, its a 3 bed/2bath house with a 2 car garage and back yard, we move in at the end of the month and we are so so so excited!!! well i will update more later!

So i just want to say that i have passed ALL of my classes! yay i am officially half way done with the nursing program and i will be moving on to level three next semester! im so very happy, excited and relieved that this semester is over, for it was the semester from hell. but it done and im so glad! yay!!!!
