A few weekends ago we went up north to visit Jesse's sister Chelsea and her Husband Andrew. it was a lot of fun, we played Settlers of Catan, which i definantly won a game, and im pretty sure chelsea did too! yeah take that tidwells! :) we also ate amazing homemade cafe rio food, and ate really good food julie made! so here are some pictures of che che and andrew!

My first IV!

So its been a while, so i will catch you all up on what has been going on lately.

last week i passed off my first IV stick! woot woot, it took pictures of christy and taryn getting theirs but i forgot to get a picture of when i finally got mine! sad i know.

So besides getting my first IV started, school has been just as crazy as ever, i have been voted to be the SNA president! so thats pretty cool, that stands for Student Nursing Association. so i get to do fundraisers and work on getting trips set up. i think it going to be lots of fun.

well last weekend we went up north so that we could see chelsea and andrew, which was really fun, we played lots of settlers! and im proud to say that i definantly won a game! we also went bowling with jesse's friend mark, which was fun. then we had a birthday dinner for jesse's brother ben. but yeah nothing to big has been going on, but i will try to keep you all more updated!

School is starting!

So school starts on Monday, and i am just a little nervous, i think it will be a great semester, but really hard. i hope i remember all the stuff from last semester. ugh there is so much to know! haha

So Jesse found a job this past week, which is really great, because now i get to have him be with me all the time, and dont have to do the long commuting thing anymore. he is going to be working at the Gandolfos down in Cedar City, so not much of a change from what he was doing this summer, but they are going to pay him pretty well, and hopefully work him alot!

So yeah other than that we are back in our old apartment in cedar, and it is now clean and completley unpacked, yes it only took a year, but i finally made myself unpack the last few boxes that we had. so now everything is in order and our apartment looks alot better. except for the heat! i feel like im going to die! we dont have AC or a swamp cooler in our place so its like living in a sauna! i can't wait for the cold to come back!

BATMAN!

So i just have to rave about how awesome the new Batman is, me and Jesse went and saw it last night, and i do have to say it is probably now one of my favs! and the best batman movie there is out there. Heath Ledger plays the best joker ever! i couldn't get over how amazing he was, and how into his character he got, it didn't even sound or look like heath ledger. But yes it was an awesome movie, except as we were sitting down in our seats the lady in front of me sat down really hard and smashed my toe in between the seat and ledge. i felt stupid because i cried out in pain and immediately started crying it hurt so bad, and she wouldn't move i asked her and she ignored me so i finally pushed on the back of her seat real hard and got my foot out, and she had the gall to give me a dirty look. lame. so yeah my toe is bruised pretty bad. ugh.

So to update you on our lives, we are still working at Gandolfo's which isn't too bad, the food benefits rock, but i bet i have gained some weight because of it! whoops. We are still living with Jesse's mom, but she is up in Island park with here sister for the rest of the summer, so its been nice having the condo all to ourselves. Jesse is currently applying for jobs down in cedar so that we can head back soon. he has applied to two good ones, and should hear back soon about one of them. so keep us in your prayers that he gets it. Im waiting to find a job until we get to cedar becuase im not sure how much i can work once school starts. i hear its going to be a killer semester. but i am ready to get back to school, i have bought all my books, and started on the homework we have had for over the summer. oh yeah i don't know if i have stated before, but me and jesse are Sunbeam teachers in primary. man it can be tough, we have some pretty crazy 3 year olds. i really love it , but jesse not so much, but as the weeks have gone on i think our sunbeams have grown to love us. i really enjoy their sweet spirits and how smart they really are, they sure say some crazy stuff, but they are a lot of fun.
Other than working and teaching primary we really havent done much, we both really want to go camping sometime, its just a matter of getting work off, but right now i guess we feel its more important to earn money than to play, but i hope we will get one camping trip in before summer is over.

Blogging

So since almost everyone i know has a blog spot, i decided that me and Jesse should have one too. but just to warn you all i'm not really big into this kind of stuff, and i know Jesse could care less, so if i dont post things very often thats why. So i guess i will quickly fill you in on the things we have done so far this summer. we celebrated our 1 year anniversary on June 1st, and this day was spent driving to California with my little brother and sister. we were on our way to San Diego for our family vacation and counting that as our anniversary. we went to the beach, the Zoo (which was my favorite day), California Adventure park, Knotts Berry Farm(jesse's fav), and then just spent a few days at our condo, which had an awesome pool. it was a really fun vacation and was realy needed, because jesse had just returned from his uncles funeral. so after a week of california we had to come home and go back to work. me and jesse are both working at Gandolfos Deli, and i have to say it is really fun getting to work with jesse. we stay pretty busy with that job, because we have to get up at 6am each morning to go to work, by the end of our shift we our exhausted and jsut want to sleep. so when we are not sleeping we are either swimming in our pool, or playing settlers with Sarah and Tad. we are getting really excited because my dad has gotten my families boat ready to be taken out. we love to go boating and since it has been so hot lately it will be a nice thing to do to cool off.
So next week is Jesse's 23rd birthday and we are going to go up to his cabin in Island Park to take a nice relaxing weekend. Jesse really wants and xbox 360 for his birthday but they are so expensive that im not sure if we will be able to get him one, but i have been saving up so we will see. well that is about all i have to say right now so goodbye. oh and those are some pictures from our summer so far.

summer movies

So far this summer i have seen all great movies. and that makes me happy. i have seen what happens in vegas, iron man, prince caspian, and indiana jones. all of which i recommend seeing becaue they are all great. i really loved what happens in vegas, it is quite hillarious i haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Iron man is simply amazing and i can't wait to see it again.
the one movie that i can't wait to come out is Batman, the dark knight. It looks amazing! well this is a lame blog but whatever.
